The Israel of God

This current posting will be to draw a clear contrast between the deception
presented by my  previous blog The Zionist Agenda for a ‘Greater Israel’ and the truth as revealed in scripture concerning the true Israel of God. That will require some explanation and the searching of relevant scriptures. The conventional wisdom in the Christian community today is that the modern state of Israel has come to exist by a marvelous work of the Lord for in their view these are the “Chosen People”. From that deception they would project into the future and assert that the nation is to grow, proper and dominate the prophetic scene after the expected pretribulational ‘rapture’. These assertions of doctrine and prophecy are built on an entirely false paradigm which has been popularized in more recent church history through the emergence and popularization of dispensational theology. I would suggest that you read and gain an understanding of this paradigm as is set forth in my previous posting earlier this month. The Israel presented in the agenda explains that there is a false Israel after the flesh and it centers in a people who are not even legitimate Jews, i.e. the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob genetically. They are the counterfeit Jews who have hijacked Orthodox Judaism and revealed to be Ashkenazim and not Sephardic. This totally false paradigm cannot be completely refuted apart from a clear presentation of the truth based entirely on the testimony of scriptures                                                                                       So let’s begin with God’s promise to Abraham at Genesis 12: 2-3    ”I will make thee a great nation, and I will bless thee and make thy name great; and thou shall be a blessing: and I will bless them that bless thee, and curse them that curseth thee: and in thee shall all of the nations of the earth be blessed.”’  So we see that the promise of blessing not only encompasses the Old Testament nation of Israel but extends ultimately to all of the nations of the earth.  It is clear from the Old Testament scriptures that there was a complete and total fulfillment of those promises to national Israel. Nothing remains to be fulfilled as concerns them for David’s kingdom was universal extending also to King Solomon. In order to discover the fulfillment of the last promise in the text we must go to the new covenant in Christ. So we will need to examine some of the relevant New Testament scriptures. In Ephesians chapter two the Apostle Paul is explaining the mystery of the gospel and we read beginning at verse 13 “But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us: having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in mordancies: for to make in himself of twain one new man.” Turning to the book of Galatians chapter five and at verse 28   we read: “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ’s, then you are re Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” Moving further in the book of Galatians to chapter six and beginning at verse14 we read the followingBut God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom he world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature…. And as many s walk according to this rule peace be upon them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.”   “For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness for everyone who believeth.” (Romans 10:4).
Can it not be clearly seen from the foregoing verses that there is indeed only one true Israel? From the Old Testament people there was always and only a remnant who actually embraced the Lord and his covenant and these people became by faith those who answer to the meaning of Israel.  The word Israel means--- to rule with God or to be a prince with God.  Clearly this meaning was not met by the majority of the Old Testament people, but the scriptures testify to the remnant that was in faith and faithful to the covenant. This truth is confirmed In the book of Romans at chapter nine verses 6-8 where we read: “Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they were not all Israel which were of Israel. Neither, because they are of the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but in Isaac shall thy seed be called. That is, they which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.”
This topic has been enlarged upon in great detail in my book The Israel    Deception If you are from among the millions of evangelicals who have been taught that there are two entities (Israel and the church) who are to inherit two entirely different kingdoms (one on earth which is Jewish and one in heaven for the church) then you have been deceived by the popular theology of the day.  I urge you to consider these important issues again through study of the scriptures or through my writings.  This deception has great implications as we move toward the end of the age, the activities in the Middle East and ultimately the tribulation for only sound doctrine will provide you an escape from the great deception which is being perpetrated on the Christian church by the counterfeit Israel  existing in the M iddle East.
